ARK doesn’t drive in Calgary yet, so you can’t book a ride here. Tell us you need one and we’ll write to you the day we launch. Travel seated in your own manual or power wheelchair. ARK matches you with a low-floor ramp or lift-equipped vehicle and a driver trained in 4-point securement. When ARK launches in Calgary, Alberta, wheelchair rides will cover Beltline and Bridgeland through Beltline and Bridgeland, including trips to Foothills Medical Centre and Rockyview General Hospital. AISH recipients in Alberta may have eligible non-emergency medical transport covered; direct insurer billing through ARK is coming soon.
