Pricing FAQ
- Your fare is a base fare of $3.50 plus $2.50 per kilometre. If the vehicle has to wait, waiting is charged at $35.00 per hour — but only after the first 10 minutes of each stop. Applicable tax is added at the end.
- No. Accessibility equipment and assistance are part of the standard fare. ARK charges the same fare for every trip regardless of accessibility needs.
- Waiting only starts after a stop passes 10 minutes. Short stops are free; the meter gives you that grace before it begins.
- It’s a close estimate based on the distance and waiting you enter. Your final fare reflects the actual route and waiting time. For funded trips, your covered portion is shown before you ride.
